- Comprehensive study in the use of finger picking styles
- Extensive chord knowledge and chord progressions

- Left and Right hand dexterity exercises for beginner physical conditioning
- Basic Concept and application of simple Major, Minor, Major 7th, Minor 7th and Dominant 7th Chords
- Scales – Major
- Melody Playing Exercises
- Strumming exercises
Textbook 2
- Concept and application of Primary chords of I, IV and V7 for Major Keys
- Concept and application of Primary chords of Im, IVm and V7 for Minor Keys
- Intermediate Finger Picking Pattern
- Scales – Major (2 octaves) and solfege singing
- Finger plucking and Pick playing combination
Textbook 3
- Concept of three finger classical technique of string picking with the right hand
- Playing entire solo pieces for solo performances reading off complex music scores
- Scales – Diatonic Scale Chord and Minor Natural and Pentatonic Scales
- Chord Tensions of 9th, 11th, 13th and Altered Tensions application
- Genre development – Blues, Swing and Bossa Nova repertoire application
