The Yamaha Education System

Learn More About The Yamaha Education System

The Yamaha system places a strong emphasis on starting music education at an early age. Research suggests that exposure to music during a child’s formative years can have a significant impact on their cognitive, emotional, and social development. Yamaha’s early childhood music programs are designed to capitalise on this critical period of learning, offering engaging and age-appropriate activities that lay the foundation for future musical growth. For example, age four to five is a time of dramatic development in hearing. By emphasising intensive aural training during this period, Yamaha maximises educational efficiency and taps into children’s natural abilities.

This approach not only lays the foundation for strong musical skills but also stimulates cognitive development, enhancing memory, language acquisition, and attention to detail. By nurturing young learners’ auditory acumen, Yamaha not only cultivates future musicians but also fosters well-rounded cognitive abilities that extend beyond music.

Benefits of Joining Yamaha

Examination Grade Instruments

Examination Grade instruments in Yamaha Studios are essential for offering students a consistent and reliable learning experience aligned with assessment standards. These instruments ensure students can practice and familiarise themselves with the same quality they will encounter during examinations, enhancing their readiness and confidence. Additionally, in Singapore, Yamaha Music School reinforces this commitment by utilising Yamaha’s highly maintained and authentic pianos in all piano studios. This provision supports skill refinement, musicality development, and technical proficiency, ultimately preparing students for successful performances in their assessments and fostering a high-standard learning environment.

Free Studio Usage

Newly enrolled piano students can enjoy the privilege of using the piano studios for practice during their initial 3 months of joining. Even if your child doesn’t have an instrument at home, they can still stay in sync with the class’s progress. To make sure your child is truly enthusiastic about the course before you decide to invest in an instrument, Yamaha is pleased to provide free Studio usage for up to 3 months. This way, you can both explore their interest and ensure they’re excited before making any commitments.
