At Yamaha Service Centre, we have a team of Brass and Woodwinds Instrument Specialist to take good care of your instrument. We used Original parts from Yamaha factory to ensure of the best quality and long lasting usage after repair.

SAXOPHONE

Highly accurate intonation, warm tone and a quick response. The saxophone produces a sound that is colourful and expressive but can also be powerful. Keeping the instrument properly maintained will help the saxophone play loud and sound great.

Saxophone Repair

After fixing the key on the body, heat the pad cup with Gas torch to melt the shellac.

Use the pad slick to align the Pads with the tone hole.

Adjustment of connection keys by loosening or tightening the adjusting screw.

Replace a new Neck cork. File & trim it to a suitable thickness to fit the mouthpiece.

Heating the pad cup to melt the shellac.

Fix the upper joint to the lower joint, then check the connection of the ring keys.

CLARINET

The clarinet, an instrument with a sonority and playability which must be experience to be believe. It also blends well with other instrument provided when it is service regularly. For clarinet we provide these services.

Clarinet Repair

FLUTE

Gazing at those fingers dancing on the keys of the flute while listening to the vibrant, bright tone colour which seem to glitter in the air with clean, rich harmonics. However, if it cannot deliver the sound you desire, seems like the flute needs servicing. For flute, we offer the following services.

Flute Repair

After replace a new Head cork, use Head cork adjusting rod to check the pitch.

Remove the wrinkles on the new pads.

TRUMPET

Commonly used in classical and jazz ensemble, the trumpet produces the bright energetic sound of a heroic fanfare. Keeping the trumpet clean will help magnify its flamboyant sound.

ALTO HORN

Alto Horn also known as tenor horn has a bore that is mostly conical. Normally it uses a deep cornet-like mouthpiece.

Baritone Horn is a low pitched instrument with a bore that is mostly conical but is has a narrower bore than the similarly pitched Euphonium.

Euphonium produce a deep resonant sound. It derives its name from the Ancient Greek word meaning ‘sweet voiced’

TENOR/BASS TROMBONE

Trombone produces a wide range of sound. As with all brass instruments, sound is produced when the player’s vibrating lip cause the air column inside the instrument to vibrate. Its beautiful clear tone, sweet and brilliant is a great projection for solos. Maintaining the instrument properly helps ensure more brilliant playing.

FRENCH HORN

The French horn is a brass instrument made of tubing wrapped into a coil with a flared bell. It offer an ever changing tonal variety from soft melodies to stirring fanfares. The smooth movement of rotors on a horn is important.

A solid sonorous foundation for any ensemble, the Tuba provide the foundation for the brass section. These large instruments maybe more difficult to maintain, but they also respond by producing an equally pleasant sound.

With its easy playability and characterized by excellent intonation the piccolo is a long- time favourite of professional musicians.

Of all the woodwinds the flute and piccolo produce a particularly lyrical and gorgeous sound. However, because these instruments include precision mechanical parts, they should always be kept clean and not allowed to collect even a small amount of dust.
