Yamaha Young Artists - Tay Wan Ni, Nicole, 16

Beginning her musical journey on a Yamaha piano at the tender age of five, Nicole joined I Play Yamaha for opportunities to improve herself through masterclasses and performances. She looks forward to the performances as an outlet to express herself musically and to exchange musical ideas with her fellow performers. Now aged 16, she has completed her Licentiate in Piano Performance awarded by ABRSM. Her favourite musicians include Krystian Zimerman and Yuja Wang. Besides playing the piano, Nicole enjoys reading in her spare time and is also interested in mathematics and science, especially physics. Nicole has trained under Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) School of Young Talent since she was six. At the age of 10, she came under the tutelage of Mdm Fang Yuan, Principal and Educator of NAFA School of Young Talent.
