Course Fees & Payment Information

We would like to make your payment experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • 1.    Registration Fee
    A non-refundable registration fee of S$50.00 (inclusive of GST) is required upon enrolment.
  • 2.     Convenient Payment Options
    GIRO - For your convenience, all students are encouraged to pay their course fees via GIRO.
    E-Services Payment Portal: Alternatively, you may make payment online by simply scanning the QR code on the payment advice, or
    CASH: When making a fee payment, please present your Student Card and Payment Advice to the cashier.
  • 3.     Payment Terms
    • a)    Payment Due Date - To ensure your vacancy in class, we require course fees to be made by the last day of every preceding month or term. In case payment is not received by the due date, the school may suspend classes until payment is made.
    • b)     Refundable Deposit - Students who prefer to not subscribe to GIRO or the online portal are required to place a refundable deposit of S$150.00 (no GST). Please note that the school reserves the right to decline enrolment in the event GIRO or online portal payment option is not selected, and the deposit is not provided.
    • c)     Refund of Deposit - For students who do not subscribe to GIRO, the deposit will be returned via Interbank Giro, assuming termination notice has been served with information of bank account details. (see Clause 16)
    • d)     Late Payment Fees - A S$5.00 administrative fee (subject to GST) will be applied for late payments or dishonoured cheques. In case GIRO deductions are unsuccessful by the first week of the month/term, the same administrative fee shall apply.
    • e)     Course Fees - All fees paid are non-refundable (except refundable deposit) and non-transferable. Course fees are subject to revision at the discretion of the school.

Holidays

Term and Public Holidays - Lessons will not be conducted during Yamaha Term Holidays and Gazetted Public Holidays and these lessons will not be rescheduled or replaced.

Attendance of Lessons

We would like you to have the best learning experience with us! Here’s how we can work together to make the most of your lessons:

  • 4.    Regular and Punctual Attendance - We encourage all students to attend their lessons regularly and arrive on time to make the most of their learning journey.
  • 5.    Replacement Lessons - Our policy is designed to ensure fairness and consistency for all students and teachers. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide makeup lessons for missed lessons by students, or in case of unforeseen situations beyond the school’s control, such as blackout, floods, or severe weather conditions.
    Nevertheless, if a teacher is not available, we do guarantee replacement lesson to maintain our commitment to quality teaching standards. We understand that a student’s absence may sometimes occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and we encourage the students to resume lessons at the earliest convenience.
  • 6.    Transfers
    If you would like to request for transfer to another class, please provide us with at least one (1) calendar month’s advance written notice.
  • 7.    Lesson Time - Lesson times include reasonable transition periods for teachers to move between classes.
  • 8.    Class Adjustments - To better meet student needs, we reserve the right to transfer, combine, or dissolve classes as necessary.
  • 9.    Parent/Guardian Participation - We will be pleased to accommodate sit-in requests for Individual Lessons for children and teenagers. We look forward to supporting your child's learning journey.
  • 10.    Classroom Etiquette - To ensure a focused and respectful environment, we request that you refrain from eating, drinking, photography, video/audio recording, or any activities that may cause disruptions during lessons. We appreciate your cooperation.

Administration

We’re here to help you stay organized and keep things running smoothly. Please note the following:

  • 11.    Student Card – In the event you misplaced your student card, please report it immediately. A replacement card will be issued at S$5.00 (subject to GST).
  • 12.    Student Number - Kindly include your Student Number in all correspondence with the school for prompt assistance.
  • 13.    Updates to Personal Details - Do notify us promptly of any changes to your address or contact information to avoid missed updates or correspondence.
  • 14.    Personal Belongings - While we do our best to maintain a safe environment, we kindly remind all students and visitors to look after their personal belongings.
  • 15.    School Notices - Stay informed! All official notices, including exam dates, will be posted on the school notice boards. We encourage students and parents to review them periodically to stay informed.

Termination Notice

We understand that plans and commitments may change, and we’re here to guide you through the process of terminating a course, should the need arise:

  • 16.    Advance Notice Required - To terminate a course, a minimum of one (1) calendar month’s advance written notice is required. For example, if your last month of attendance is December, do inform us in writing by 30th November, failing which, one (1) month’s course fees will be applicable.
  • 17.    Securing Your Spot During Absence - We would recommend that you make fee payment for the respective month(s) in the event you wish to secure your vacancy during a temporary absence.
  • 18.    Returning the Student Card – We would require the return Student Card upon termination for proper closure of your enrolment.

Please note that our school rules and regulations are occasionally updated. We'll post these changes on the School Notice Boards, so do check them regularly.
