17 year old Gladys Chua Wan Yi, Yamaha Piano Course student at Hougang branch had a chat with us.
Q1: |
How long have you been a piano student in Yamaha Music School? |
A1: |
I joined Yamaha when I was four, so it’s been a good twelve years. |
Q2: |
What grade have you achieved? |
A2: |
For piano, I have ABRSM Grade 7 Practical and Grade 5 Theory. |
Q3: |
What were your results like in the most recent piano exams? |
A3: |
I scored a Merit for Grade 7 Practical. |
Q4: |
What is your parent's opinion of the piano lessons in YMS? |
A4: |
My parents don’t really have an opinion. But it was my piano teacher that helped me grow a passion in piano otherwise I would have felt that it was a chore to attend lessons. The lessons are great, and I learn a lot of songs other than just exam pieces that not only expand my repertoire but improve my playing in different styles. Parents are just trusting Yamaha and enjoying the music I bring back home. |
