The 1st movement of this production was composed in 2001 and the 2nd & 3rd movements were composed in 2002. In the same year, the first performance was conducted by the Soka Gloria Wind Instrument Orchestra Brass Octet.
Through this composition, I wanted to draw a distorted picture depicting modern day supremacy of science, our needs and how we have left things behind. During this time, the September 11 terrorist attacks in NY happened. This incident exposed the fragility of even a big metropolis. In the 1st movement this was painted under the topic ‘Torn City’.
