Thank you! My piano teacher at Yamaha, Ms Li Ti, helped me make practice sessions more effective.

At the beginning of my exam preparation, I struggled with some technical difficulties but with positive focus, determination and regular practice, I saw the gradual improvement and became very satisfied at a later stage.

I'm really thankful to Ms Li and extremely happy that the hard work paid off.

Why did you choose to learn music?

Making music helps me destress. Music is also a means to communicate and bring joy to other people even if you don't have a common language with them, so this is why I chose to learn music.

I started attending music lessons at Yamaha when I was 4 and the very passionate teachers definitely made learning music fun. As for learning the piano, Ms Li is a very patient and encouraging teacher who makes learning enjoyable.

Yamaha lessons are very holistic as they aim to teach students how to appreciate music. Starting from JMC, Ariel learnt to appreciate different types of music by listening to the Yamaha CDs. Yamaha's training for aural skills helps students develop musicality in the long run.
