Classical Piano Masterclass 2023

Application Information

【Application Condition】

【Lesson fee and Lesson time】

・20,000 JPY with prevailing tax (to be paid upon acceptance, based on currency rate at point of billing) for 1 lesson (1-hour individual lesson)
* Observation of other student’s lessons is available
・Lesson timing slot for the Masterclass on 4 November 2023 (Between 16:00 – 20:00) will be advised to successful participant upon passing the audition.

【Scholarship】

*Excellent students may be selected for scholarship through the video audition
① Subsidies of lesson fee
* 1st place : 100% subsidies for lesson fee / 2nd place : 50% subsidies of lesson fee

【Assignment】

・Audition: Performing two pieces chosen from two different eras
・Masterclass: Brush up on the performance of the two repertoire pieces

【How to apply】

1. Shoot a video of the assignment and post it on YouTube (*post it privately)
2. Fill in the YouTube URL and information on the application form and submit to your own Music School reception desk

【How to shoot】

・Shoot from the side, so that both hands and feet can be seen in the video
・Shoot in landscape mode if using a smartphone
・Grand pianos are recommended

【Participation Agreement】

Master class on the day will be recorded for promotion and the shot video will be shown on SNS and on the Website. If you pass the audition and decide to participate in the Masterclass, you will need to submit an agreement form for permission to publish the video.
