Advisory From Yamaha Music School [24 May 2021]

[𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆] We were informed on 21 May (Friday) that a Flute teacher (Case 63600) has tested positive for COVID-19. He last conducted lessons at Yamaha Contempo Music School @ Plaza Singapura on 6 May (Thursday) and Yamaha Music School @ Westgate on 10 May (Monday). Thereafter, he did not conduct any lesson in our school premises from 11 May. All Wind/Brass instrument lessons are suspended from 16 May (Sunday) in accordance to MOE's SMM directives.

To date, Yamaha Music School has not received any directives from the Contact-Tracing Team. As a step-up measure, both Yamaha Contempo Music School @ Plaza Singapura and Yamaha Music School @ Westgate were closed on 22 May (Saturday) to facilitate deep cleaning and disinfecting of the premise in accordance with NEA's guideline.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and seek your understanding as we await for directives from the authorities. We would like to assure you that we are sparing no effort to protect our students and staff so that we can continue to work and learn in a safe and healthy environment.
