9 year old Charisse Lim is a Junior Ensemble Course student at Plaza Singapura. Mrs Lim, mum of Charisse, has this to share with everyone:

Charisse used to be a very shy child who refused to perform in class. Over the years, Yamaha courses have not only provided her with a strong music foundation but also instil self confidence in her. Her interest in music has grown with Yamaha. Playing by ear helps her to explore music beyond the Yamaha curriculum. She is now more independent in her daily practice and more resilient in mastering the difficult pieces. These attributes will surely go a long way in her life.
