Key Responsibilities

  • Personalized Instruction: Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to each student’s learning style, age, and skill level.
  • Progress Assessment: Monitor and evaluate student development, offering constructive feedback and encouragement.
  • Performance Preparation: Guide students in preparing for music exams (e.g., Yamaha), recitals, and competitions.
  • Collaborative Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about current teaching methods, music education trends, and inclusive practices.

Position & Details

  • Salary: SGD 1,200 - $1,500 per month (based on experience and teaching hours)
  • Job Type: Part-time or Permanent

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Minimum Rockschool/Trinity/ABRSM Grade 8 (Practical) and Grade 5 (Theory) in Drums or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred, especially with diverse age groups and learning needs. However, we welcome enthusiastic candidates who may be new to teaching but demonstrate strong musical ability, a willingness to learn, and a passion for education.
  • Skills: Solid drum proficiency appropriate for teaching students across beginner to intermediate levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to student development.
