Hamamatsu Japan, November 6, 2025, Yamaha has expanded its collaboration with Roland Corporation by adding new device compatibility, enabling seamless integration between Yamaha’s DM3 series compact digital audio mixing consoles and the Roland V-160HD direct streaming video switcher.

This collaboration follows the integration with the V-80HD, announced in June 2025, which supports improved workflow efficiency and enhanced production quality for events and content creation.

High quality sound and vision are equally important for live streamed and location video productions. The compact Yamaha DM3 series is designed to deliver the best sound through its exceptional audio quality, professional features, fast setup and straightforward operation. Meanwhile, Roland’s V-160HD is a highly portable streaming video switcher designed for hybrid events, which have become a standard format in recent years. It supports a wide range of device connections and video formats, and is equipped with numerous features to enable diverse and dynamic productions.

With this seamless integration, users can now recall scene memories stored in the DM3 Series console directly from the V-160HD, and control the V-160HD’s audio mixer fader levels and mute buttons from the DM3 Series. By combining these features, events and broadcasts can be executed more quickly and easily. It unifies high quality audio and video production a single, compact system, allowing even a solo operator to manage the entire setup with ease.

Integration between the DM3 Series and the V-160HD is included in the latest firmware update for the V-160HD, which is available now from Roland. The integrated system will also be on demonstration at Inter BEE 2025, which is being held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan, from November 19 to 21, 2025.
