Masamichi Amano studied at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo and graduated in 1982. Now a celebrated music composer, arranger and conductor, Amano's orchestral works include musical scores for blockbuster movies such as the piece "7e. Suite Symphonique "BR" pour l'orchestre de vent" which was original soundtrack for the movie "Battle Royale".
Soichi Konagaya graduated from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1973 majoring in percussion. In 1998, he was awarded the distinguished Academy Award of the Bandmasters Academic Society of Japan. He presently serves as the Japanese band clinic commission advisor, executive director of Academic Society of Japan for Winds Percussion and Bands, and the executive committee of “KYO-EN, the Wind Orchestra Music of the 21st Century”.
Masanori Taruya studied at the Musashino Academia Musicae in Japan. After his graduation, he went on to compose popular wind orchestra pieces usually derived from historical events such as "Magellan's voyage to Unknown Continent" and "Noah's Ark". Taruya's works continue to be very popular amongst many school and amateur bands.
