Piano/Electone/Guitar Teachers

Join us!

Some of our students take their music very seriously and are committed to working hard towards attaining the highest grades in recognised music examinations. As a piano, electone or guitar player, you’ll have gone through those exams yourself. As such, you can empathise, but also push when needed because you understand the discipline that is required to master your instrument.

If you think you can communicate that discipline with passion and patience, if you can be the role model, the maestro and the disciplinarian when needed, you may be the teacher Yamaha is looking for.

What you’ll need:

  • Formal qualifications for your instrument as listed in “Your audition” below
  • A pleasant disposition
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work on weekends

What you’ll get:

In addition to the pleasure of teaching what you love, you’ll get:

  • Registered with and recognised by MOE
  • Up to 8 weeks of holidays as stipulated in Yamaha Calendar
  • Other leave entitlement
  • Training provided at seminars
  • Medical benefits
  • Staff purchase
  • Subsidised music course
  • Insurance coverage
  • Others
